TV These days sucks -Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
    #19366563 - 01/04/14 01:02 AM (10 years, 27 days ago)

It says a lot about our entertainment today when puppeteers and voice actors can convey more emotion than most shows on broadcast television... and this one was 23 years ago...

nope, splinter was entirely a puppet. The turtles required a delicate coordination between the actor in the suit and a puppeteer who remotely controlled all the facial expression and mouth movement.  So one guy was moving the body, a puppeteer was operating the mechanics in the face.

Kevin Clash played splinter's voice.  He is most well known for being the voice of Elmo on Sesame Street.

Tell me about it, and don't forget the adds. My mum loves it, i just don't get it. Every channel except the government channels have become completely dominated with Reality show junk, played between the adverts.
It's a joke. This year i invested in a hard drive for shows and movies. Best thing i ever did. Ripped all my dvds ect. No adds and only stuff i enjoy played. It's like watching tv in the 90s again.

Interesting idea. Some older shows do seem to have more feeling to them for some reason. Even cartoons like Batman seemed more in tune kind of.
