This is not true at all. I did an experiment with this species and gave 2 different people the same dry dose. One had a pleasant experience, mild euphoria, uplifted energy. The other went temporarily blind, had hot flashes, cold flashes severe nausia etc...
When I find this species I fry like 30 - 40 wet grams in butter for the extrordinary flavor and have no notable positive or negative effects.

There is a wealth of information about on both preparation and likely outcomes of consuming A. muscaria on this website and the interwebs as a whole. I would strongly recommend researching these thoroughly before you make any decisions.

To my knowledge.. it is a sacrament.. doesnt really follow the laws of reality and is really unpredictable.. if you are looking to get high, you will probably get a lesser expereance... if you are looking for divinity.. you can get it.. though it is obtainable through simpler means too...
