Who plays the drums?

Alright, well after being able to find 0 shroomery rappers with original material in my thread it brought about a second question - who here plays the drums?
I've played for over 10 years and the 2 drumkits I've owned are a Tama Swingstar and a Yamaha DTXPRESS3 electronic kit.
I know i'm not there only drummer here, so where are the shroomerite drummers at?!?!

I drum on a fairly regular basis. Lately I have been doing more of it. I play guitar too!
Those 2 things bring a lot of peace into my life. If you're in a shitty mood you just get better at instruments, which is rad!

They make good trigger modules. Lotta reknowned metal drummers use them.

Fellow drummer here. haven't been able to play as much as i'd like since going to college but i still jam every now and then. I can't wait to start playing on a more regular basis when I get my own spot.
The only set i've ever owned was a pearl export 5 piece.

I don't have a double kick, but I am getting quite good at the heel toe pattern. It's amazing what you can do with just one foot. Recenetly i started getting a lil better with my left foot too so its really all coming together. I hid my crash symbol so that I would be forced to work more with my hi-hat. It worked out pretty damn well I must say.

I know a guy who usually just plays with a hi hat, ride(crashes on it), snare and floor tom and he still shreds the fuck out of them. You'd never think it's possible to do so much with so little. Probably the best way to learn is by starting on a simple set up like that too.

yeah I got cocky and moved straight to double bass with out learning the proper one foot actions.. so at some point I plan to do as you've said and hide my 2nd pedal and the crash so I go back to the basics and pick up the things I missed

I too have seen/herd folks make some incredible beats with only a hit hat, snare and floor tom
it's how much is possible with soo little.

Once you got some rudiments under your belt its just a matter of where you want to apply them.
The old jazz drummers played some of the most complex shit, with some of the most basic kits.

For reals, seeing some of Buddy Rich's SNARE solos alone was incredible, let alone what he did with the rest of the kit.
