if it were me i would not worry because it is on the stem. i've only had the happen when my fruiting chamber had a fan basically blowing on it resulting in SUPER high FAE and low humidity, almost pre drying the fruits before they were picked in a way (nowhere near what urs looks like). do u see ur caps have that blue around the bottom of their perimeter (lower part near where the cap meets the stem)? that also happened to me in the same grow where parts of the stems bruised blue from too much fae or too little RH. on the other hand. they look healthy otherwise (my stems would begin to crack if there was too much air movement coinciding with too little humidity, hopefully urs are not on the verge of that). the verm looks a bit dry, but its also larger than what i use, so maybe there is moisture inside the mineral itself? glad that kit worked out for you! now that ur about to be addicted to this hobby, start from scratch and really sink ur teeth!

cronicr said: get some perlite for your tote and drill 1/4 inch holes spaced 2 inches apart on all six sides and elevate it with jars or whatever your using now so air can pass up and underneathe it, don't use the bag they gave you your tote and perlite will serve you much better
Nice one for the advice cronicr! but i gotta drain the box in the morning so no time to get perlite or fuck about. Also...(whisper whisper whisper)...im planning on a cup or two of water in the bucket to create humidity and open the lid of it once a day and fan to freshen up. Do you reckon this will be ok? (all without the filter bag?)
Your mum's going to find it !!!

spacechildo said: you dont have that fuzzy feet, but you seem to have fuzzy caps (veils) do you have enough holes in that box? hard to tell from the pics. you don't fan for fae, fae is a constant thing slowly exchanging the air in your tub.
You could try to elevate the tray you got there with a rack or something so you dont block all the fresh air from coming up through the bottom holes.
the blue is just bruising.
I think i have enough holes maybe its just low humidity and fanning too much?!
Blinding leaf, thanks. Im just going to concentrate on misting more to keep the humidity up.
Addicted? Im really really! interested in doing this all from scratch. Ill attempt at making spore prints from these. Any idea how long spore prints can be stored for?
thanks for the feedback

That is just bruising and things look pretty good. your fruits do show some signs of low FAE in my opinion. I don't see any holes in the sides of your tub at sub level.

Ive looked up brown spots through search and found out my shrooms might be contaminated with verticillium maybe?

Can someone confirm? And are they safe to eat?!
I think i might harvest today as a few have opened up.

I eat every shroom except the ones that are clearly moldy/rotten nasty.

not sure exactly what it is, but i have eaten many many a shroom with brown specs on top that was clearly bacteria from misting too much. dry them well, or make them into tea fresh. unless the fruit is really rotting/smelling its ok. if its a few little moist/wet indents on the cap, no worries, i forget what its (that specific bacteria) is called.

Thanks for the reply mate, I've looked it up and again the closet match I've found is Verticllium. But who knows, if it is then it's non toxic so I'm happy to eat em up.
I harvested yesturday and am drying them out until cracker dry. I got 90g fresh. I've dunked the cake and gone for a second flush, this time without the plastic box it came in.
Since I added a few more holes to my tub tho the temp has decreased (not surprisingly) but the humidity looks to have gone through the roof, I can hardly see through the tub?!
Anyway thanks a lot for the advice an feedback. Much appreciated from everyone. This forum is fucking good!
