Yea your pins will love the dunk and still survive. Keep them on and once you're done with the dunk, roll in verm and put a little extra on top and bottom thats damp(my preference) and then they'll be on their way! =) goodluck man!

the brown slime on the top of the un colonized section looks exactly like a bacterial contam I had earlier this year. that spot will never colonize.
