option for pain treatment?

Is there any plant or option to treat pain similar to vicodin? I often am unable to sleep due to nerve problems. The hoops I have to jump through to get a vicodin are fucking stupid and I can't drink 1/2 a bottle of vodka to goto sleep hours before work. I already smoke weed but sometimes that's not enough. Any ideas?...been up 30+ hours now....thanks

Damn, sorry to hear that hushmush, sleep is defiantly essential, so I feel your pain.
Have you tried Kratom? Doesn't taste AS BAD(or good, how ever you see it) as vodka, but its different thats for sure. Blended into/with a tea, is the ideal way to go. (my opinion)
Maybe try to go for a smoking tolerance break for a day or two, then hop back on. Anandamide(the reactant with THC) can become stressed at time, especially with no sleep, so the break would help regenerate that.
Im not sure what kind of physical health you are in, but some slight exercising/stretching before sleeping can help, not necessarily ware you out.
Last but not least, go get some Tylenol 3 if you have access.

Have you ever given any thought to cultivating your own poppies outdoors and snapping the pods off bringing them indoors to extract some edible opium from the pods? How about some kratom, I've never tried it before but I've heard it has a lot of the same effects as an opiate only just a bit weaker.

I do not recommend opiates in any form. Kratom is good for pain but has some drawbacks as well. For nerve pain, there is a surprisingly cheap and simple treatment. It does not work for all types of nerve pain, it does work for many types of neuropathy, possibly for other types of pain. The substance is glutamine, an amino acid which is sold for various health benefits. It can be gotten cheaply by the kilo but stay away from gnc because they are sky high. Get at least 100 grams to try out. I recommend 20 to 30 grams a day. It will start working within a few days if its going to work for you. The only side effect is a slight laxative effect.

You should definitely give kratom a shot. I've used it the last few times I've pulled my neck out pretty badly and it helped enough. It's sorta like ibuprofen; You can feel the pain but it doesn't really matter.
I wasn't using too much, and definitely could've scaled it up if need be. Also you're able to function in social situations normally. The one major downside I'd have to mention though is occasional bouts of nausea. Nothing puke-worthy but still annoying.
You could always try to find that perfect dose to help with your pain, then weigh out the positives and negatives. Goodluck OP

You could definitely do well going with one of our sponsors.
I really haven't experimented with different strains, but I always go for a more relaxing strain and it's done me well so far.
I'm sure someone with more kratom under their belt could chime in about the differences though.
