Help needed: Brf cakes to coir
    #19363413 - 01/03/14 01:19 PM (10 years, 27 days ago)

So I've been following this forum all the way back since my very first grow...

This is now my second grow lollz. So this time I tried something new. I chose to spawn the cakes to a bulk substrate!! Gasp! Anyways, I followed this tek: How To Spawn Cakes To A Bulk Substrate!

Pretty awesome tek. I followed it to the T. Now today is the 11th day since I spawned the cakes to coir. The picture below was taken on the 10th day.

SO this is where you guys come in.. What should I do now? Should I wait a few more days for it to be even more white? Or should I put it in the fruiting chamber now? It is completely covered in mycelium.

Help me and you shall receive

ONE MILLION HIGH FIVES!

Haha thanks guys. Hope to hear from you soon!

This is B+. A lot of people recommended B+ to start.

Sadly, my last grow was kind of shitty )'; But I'm really hoping this time around will be better! Everything has gone smooth so far.

Thank you I will update this thread every few days! And yeah I've hear a cube is a cube with the exception on PE.

Yea, I think the verdict is still out on PE. Average flush from MS more potent perhaps, harder to grow/no good on cakes perhaps, although I have seen a number of PE grows on PF cakes do just fine. Either way with any variety you'll want an isolate for any true reliability and performance.
