Which ones?? There are three different species in my pics. The morels(pitted or honeycomb) shape mushrooms do not bruise blue.

Yesterday I had a whole cake pan filled, had it in the oven, had to step out. I told my girl.... Wait 20 MNTS. And turn the oven off and close the door.... She closed the door and forgot to turn of the oven. .. was almost nothing left and the rest burnt..

Dry them on a food dehydrator. If you don't have one set them on(news)paper with a fan blowing lightly towards them. (This way could take a couple days). Make sure their cracker dry.(The stem should snap when bent) The oven is not the best way to dry them.

If your wondering how to take a spore print I'll tell ya. Cut the stems off as close to the cap without damaging the gills. Place the cap gills down on a peice of tinfoil(or white paper),and cover with a cup or bowl.  Leave it overnight for a nice BLACK print like this:
