I don't know what happened to that global warming promise, but somebody didn't deliver...

I have no idea where the temperature are going up, but it's clearly not here. I read today that Mars was warmer than my city yesterday
Ships stuck in ice. Toronto is a frozen wasteland, canada in general is paralyzed with cold. I'm sure the Americans are feeling it too.
WTF global warming, where you at?

You need to understand the difference between climate and weather before you can understand climate change.

There is enough solid evidence to validate global warming for every sincere individual who wants to become informed about the truth of the matter on the merits of their own serious contemplation, and not based on hearsay and rumors.
even when London, England and many other sea-bordering cities are consumed entirely in the coming decades, forcing millions of people to evacuate their homes, there will still be people who deny global warming.

who whoa, calm down captain catastrophe. I'm pretty sure patlal mentioned global warming in the title of this thread because right now it feels like the opposite is happening. No need to get hyper-dramatic here.

I did not say that to become a doomsayer and i am not upset, but it is the truth of the matter, plain and simple. i choose to not beat around the bush and avoid the core of the truth, or to try and convince others since the evidence speaks for itself - meanwhile those who do not want to acknowledge it, won't.
I live in canada so i know how crazy cold it just got here, but the evidence of global warming is still there.

Toronto had these crazy ice quakes aka frost quakes last night. Scared the living shit outta me. Actually made my windows rattle. It sounded like large trees falling on my roof. I got out of bed and braved the -23 weather to check for damage and there was nothing! Apparently these frost quakes are very rare seismic events that happen when the ground is saturated (like following the crazy ice storm that we had) followed by a rapid, hard freeze, like -23. Pressure builds up and then POW! I thought we were under attack.

No there isn't. This is a lie. Not a mis-statement. A lieQuote:

And when it doesn't (like it hasn't for the last 17 years) there will still be dogmatic idiots insisting that it is just a temporary blip in the matrix. Piss off, true believer.

ok, i concede to you guys. whether or not it is true that global warming is a myth, as i sit here pulling up suitable articles to validate my point, i realize sheepishly that i am crusading for something that, really, is not my place or desire to crusade about. and that in itself is a form of taking life too seriously, so i apologize for that. there is a point where crusading becomes way more harmful than good, and i crossed that line. but i will endeavor not to do it again.
