PS.Allenii/Friscosa or other
    #19362677 - 01/03/14 10:09 AM (10 years, 28 days ago)

Hi my FOAF in the Netherlands got a handfull spawn of this, but she and his friend don't know the type of this active. It was tested before, years ago, and active

They think it is Allenii/Cyanofranciscana (called it: friscosa  )

Habitat:
It's a manmade bed, near a well, it's a woodlover, chips, some grass, and shade.

Gills, stem, cap etc:
See on the pics.

Spore print color:
I know it's important, bud didn't drop any.

Other information:
woodlover, found in late september, rainy days, 10-18 °C

Pics:

Isolated (She think  )

And made some spawn, to run...

Do you think this kinda mycelium is good? This is its 6th day after agar vedge inocc.

Thanks for any help!
Peace

It certainly looks like mushroom mycelium.  THe mushrooms also look like P. allenii.  Try posting to the cultivation forum for more grow tips and input!

Psilocybe cyanescens due to the wavy caps with dark coloration even when young.

Psilocybe allenii has a lighter colored cap when young, thicker stems, and the caps are less wavy.

BREH, youre on the right track *from the RBG*  shred-soak-strain & PC egg cartons, double/triple layered tyvek, let consume, shredded large amount of soft wood, let consume, then go to large out door wood spawn. Get familiar with long term bulk.

Can't say if they're allenii or cyan, but for iso you have a long road ahead of you.

Good work!
