I'd have to be dead to do that.

heh it's funny... this is exactly what I figured would happen. "Should I post this useless quote on this about-to-die thread? Someone is gonna' mention how their parents are dead and I'm gonna feel bad for saying anything"
THANKFULLY, you're icelander, and I like your humor.

Dead people don't scare me much. I don't even miss them.

They tend to make me feel elevated by contrast, does he mean to save money on rent or something?

Well I do not claim to be enlightened, but nonetheless I do not see the relevance to that statement.
I love my parents and could spend a week with them no problem

I adore my parents and just this year spent a week with them- all nuances are small potatoes in the bigger scheme of things at this point, but I still felt somewhat relieved and joyful about flying back home at the end of the week. Not buying that you don't exert some extra effort and energy into looking past your individual differences with your parents...... I think it's so utterly quotable because on some level it's pretty universal.

For the water, I recommend carrying it with something other than your hands...Perhaps capture it in a bottle/jug and carry that

okay that was a joke, actually enlightenment is already part of your nature so yeah thats not even an egotistical statement. the question is, to what degree have you fully immersed the mind irrevocably in the self? that question, none can answer for you, we can only speculate.

Hmmm. I wonder if I can comment from my phone? You are the universe experiencing itself. If your not agitated or bored then you are present.
