After you dry them they are best kept in the freezer if you plan to store them a long time. . Psilocybin and psilocin are more stable at lower temps long term.

Ahh yes i remember that now, my original plan was to put them in a zip lock i have that can be vacuum sealed shut. wrap that in a trash back, then freezer it.

Should i put a damprid pack in there?

If so how should i create the pack?

So long as they are cracker dry you do not need any thing else in the bag

Yea you are going overboard here. Dry them, bag them, and if necessary jar/freeze them.

Save the desiccant for something else, if your not opening the jar often then no excess moisture can get in really

That's not out of the ordinary for cubes. Cut big fruits in half to speed things up dramatically

man i *never* used to think about drying my shrooms this hard.
i just finished off an oz stash that i had lying around for a year. did pretty much everything possible wrong; fan dried, they were still fluffy on the inside, snapped a little but still bent. i put them in a bag, even haphazardly left some air in them. a year later i still got messed off of small doses.

Just keep in mind that yes, taking more precautions will probably have some small beneficial effect on how long the last. but really, as long as they dont rot; its hard to do it wrong. after a year of being stored crappy their potency still felt around 80%. taking all these extreme measures is probably just allowing you to keep them for 2-3 years instead of one. but if you dont plan to keep them that long; you dont have to get too fancy with the drying

Thanks for the input boss hog^! Really passified my thoughts. I always thought from the begginning it was no big deal. Buuuut. I search and search and search posts til I get so far back and I'm reading outdated information. This weekend(even though I have great memory and it's kinda hard to foget teks you do over an Over) I'm gonna get a journal and start writing up all my teks, how I personally like to do things, and ratios, Mixtures and what not) just so I don't need Internet or anyone/thing else.

I know there is a few links/write ups on Shroomery with almost everything on it, strain discussions,
Etc.
I have a bunch saved, but it wouldn't hurt to spread the info! Ill share mine tonight when I get home.

I also got 3 oz dry off my tub
