The title says it all. after roughly 5 months of assuming i would receive a seizure notice / 'love letter', a package arrived at my doorstep.
the envelope: opened up and resealed with CBSA inspection tape the foil vaccuum bag inside: opened up the 25B-nbome (~2.5g): CBSA tape marked '1' stuck to ziplock bag the 25I-nbome (~2.5g): CBSA tape marked '2' stuck to ziplock bag
Of course, these are not explicitely illegal, but I am somewhat surprised (nay, shocked!) that the contents were not seized.
Anyone KNOW (please no assumptions) whaqt info they may have as a result? It seems likely that it would have been tested, at least against a panel of known narcotics that are commonly seized (coke, MDMA, etc) and returned no red flags

Those chemicals are illegal now, but were legal 5 months ago. (In the USA, not sure about your country)
Sounds like they opened it, tested it with GC/MS, found that they did not contain controlled substances and sent them on their way.

I once had a package of 2C-I (sent from a shady lab in China that I stopped doing business with due to their terrible packaging) opened by CBSA years ago - they tested it, it didn't match anything that was controlled, and they even included a note asking for me to contact them if I wouldn't mind to tell them what it was as they were intrigued.

lol, Canadians asking what drug youre importing. Hope you never told them. They have the GC/MS data saved now, all they would need is a name to go to their results, would make it so much easier for them to track.

Of course not, I ignored their request and stopped using that address.

I thought this was pretty unheard of in Canada. Where was the package coming from?
