Katores Mega Martha!

So, I decided I needed more greenhouse space but didn't want several separate environments due to the need for additional electronics. To do this, I would essentially need to build my own or modify another design to suit my needs. I decided to modify two different styles into one. I started with one of these found at Homedepot.com -

and two of these standard greenhouses everyone is so familiar with. These came from Target. -

I drilled and bolted the bottoms of the stand to two large underbed totes with wheels which were purchased from wallmart

All together, it looks kind of like this -

It is nice because there is enough room in the center between the two individual greenhouse frames for a cool mist to blow all the way to the top of the Martha, unobstructed.
Also, even though the two boxes do not even hint at being made by the same company or subsidiaries, they must be made on the same assembly line. I was able to drill out the bottom of the pole holes so the bottom of the greenhouse frames are physically part of the Martha. If you look at this next pic, you can see the polls go through all three of the plastic frame pieces.

I added 2 cool mist humidifiers. One blows upward and one blows to the side.

I left the far left and right of the totes open for FAE. Also, the top of the Martha is a black fabric that breathes easily. I'm sure I'll have to treat it with some sort of antimicrobial. This however requires you place the light inside the greenhouse which isn't favorable but doable by hanging it from the closet rack pole. I very temporarily placed this T8 4' fixture with all of the electrical connectors and wires sealed up but I will be looking for something of outdoor quality construction very soon. BTW, I layered some perlite on the bottom of the totes.
In the end, it looks like this:

For me, this just solves the issue of losing shelf space in order to keep open area for FAE from the Cool Mists air movement. I prefer to maximize efficiency wherever possible.
This is only the very 1st test run of this Martha. I'm sure I will be making lots of adjustments, some of which I have already identified. I just thought it was kind of clever to combine the three units into one and wanted to share it with everyone for in case it suits someone elses needs. I will likely make a step by step TEK when I get around to building the second one and have all the bugs worked out.
Edit: grammar

If you need to have lighting in a hostile environment, research salt water aquarium lighting. I have a discontinued product that I use made by "coralife" and is called the "Ez-ballast". The end caps are water proof, and seal around a t12 or 8 with provided silicone adapters. The ballast is located in the wall plug. It can run up to a pair of 4' fluorescent tubes.

They seem to have remade them in the last decade. My unit has a 2003 mfr date stamp, and has survived 4 years of service over a 75 gallon reef, a few more over a 30 gallon reef, and years in a box.

That thing looks sweet. I wish I had the space to double up my GH like that.

That makes sense! I'm running some errands soon and now the pet / aquarium store was just added to the list of stops. Thanks!
