I took 2g that day and I tripped, although not hard but it shows they were psychoactive. She took 2 hits of DOB, felt a little nauseous and then absolutely nothing. I took 3 and tripped balls. She's not on any medication. She also has a really high tolerance for alcohol so I'm thinking she could have really active enzymes or something.
I deal with things such as this quite often. I always dose higher than my friends for similar results, it seems some people just don't metabolize drugs in the way most people do.

Eat less meats and processed foods for a while.. will probably lessen the maoi enzymes.. like reversed tolerance building..

do you have any studies or anecdotes that show this is possible?
and wouldn't it be mao enzymes not maoi?

Such a tough choice!
Mushrooms, LSD, Mescaline from San Pedro, DMT, LSA.....hmmm....I love them all!
But if i would have to be specific about it, i would say wood-loving mushrooms, such as ps. Cyanesis and ps stuntzii. I LOVE those mushrooms! So unique. They feel so much different than cubensis, its crazy! Best shrooms by far.
Then theres LSD. Who wouldnt love LSD? I mean, its the McDonalds of psychedelic: super easy to take and super convient to bring with you. I mean, a tiny dose that has no nasty mushroom taste or super bitter San Pedro liquid or plasticy smoke of DMT? It couldnt be more "user-friendly".
Then Mescaline from san pedro. The nastiest taste in your life, but the experience is amazing. Its like your not even on a trip, you are on a journey. I would say the best combo is by far Mescaline mixed with dank buds. The open eye visuals will BLOW YOUR MIND. Unforgetable.
Then DMT. Holy shit. DMT is scary powerful. Ive done some potent stuff once, wow. Talk about a felt-melter. Those visuals will blow your mind too, and if you arent ready, you will freak out ( i know i did). If you wanna see OEV's, try DMT. Only bad thing is that the trip is like less than an hour : ( but if youre freakin out, thats a good thing.
Lastly, theres LSA. Ive done Morning Glories a couple times, and i love thr traquility of the trip. Its like peace, wonder and happiness all at once. Its really beautiful in a mellow way. But, i havent got as good as to extract the LSA from the seeds, so the poisons in the seeds are horrible! Stomach ache, bad leg cramps, and weird "fish eye" vision days after tripping. I hated that part. But the trip without it is amazing. Theres actually a trip report on Erowid called "Very Intense" where he did a full on extraction of LSA and took LSD with it. The trip report sounds incredible. I wanna try what he did some day, it sounds like a winning combo.
All in all, my favorite is.....all of them!

Shrooms are for introspection, for discovery of the self. When I'm tripping hard on an eighth or more, I tear down my entire perception of myself and reform it.
Acid is for becoming one with everything, in a practical way. Although trips are definitely spiritual, I wouldn't say I am examining myself in as deep of a way as I would do on shrooms. It's more like I'm realizing the beauty of our world, taking myself out of the human perspective and allowing free ideas to flow in my brain. A lot of these ideas are perfectly fit for our world since they were formed without any restraint to current human society.

I understand what you are saying but Mushrooms are better than anything else in my opinion. I like them because of the self discovery.

It depends on what you're looking to gain from the experience.
Recently, I've been looking for inspiration on how to change the world and what I want to do in life. For that, L is better because it integrates me into the applicable, pragmatic world rather than tearing apart my perception of it, leaving me to put it back together in the time following.

Mescaline, without a doubt...I love it's spacious, earthy vibe; much gentler than other classical psychedelics at the same level of intensity.

from now on when people make these threads it should be what psychedelics have you taken and which was your favorite so it can be more accurate.
