This little dude poops like ..a ton. I woke up today and there was black dots all over inside the jar on his food and on the side of the glass jar.

Anywho, I was able to take him out safely, change his lettuce and he was put back in. I'm gonna pick some random things out of the garden today and see if he has a preference for which leafy greens.

I thought he was dead when I checked him on this morning. Maybe he was just sleeping lol

If it was found on artichokes, you should probably give it that.  I've reared a few caterpillars before, not much to do besides provide adequate food (Some are specific about what they eat) and wait...

I've found countless catipilliars in produce and majority do look like that guy. They always ended up as fish food for my cichlids.
