107 degrees F too hot?

I just got out my digital laser thermometer and it is telling me that the bottom of the unit is 107 degrees. The top tray varies because fresh mushies absorb and disperse heat at a different rate. It's telling me that it's around 90 to 100 degrees. I checked it with cracker dry ones and it said 107 on the top tray. I think that's way too high.
Thoughts?

Assuming this is a food dehydrator... no. This is not too hot. You're fine. Don't even trip.

I normally dehydrate @ 160f with no problems. No noticeable loss of potency.

You're welcome. I always felt like the faster they dried and I got them properly stored, the less time they'd have to lose potency. I'd slice them up into smaller pieces and then depending on the ambient humidity you're looking at 4-12 hours for cracker dry. The drier the air in the room is, the faster they will dry.

Sorry about that. I was vague. Now that I reread it, it makes sense.

Psilocybin doesn't degrade until over 300 degrees. 107 is fine!
