That lonely feeling
    #19353036 - 12/31/13 10:19 PM (10 years, 1 month ago)

When you're tripping balls by yourself then momentarily come back to earth and realize you're alone, in your room..And it just feels weird.
Almost like a feeling of guilt.

Who feels me?

Yea man, I know what you mean. Usually happens at the 8 hour mark for me, and it's just like wow I'm useless. I can't even think of what to do with myself..lol never fails to sneak it's way in to the trip at some point

Lol it really is a buzzkill.
I plan on tripping in the coming days..How do you (or anyone) counteract this feeling?
I'm considering watching a movie or something when that feeling comes about.

N what's ironic to me is I usually get that feeling after an awesome/beautiful experience with myself where everything makes perfect sense..

Then I open my eyes and I'm like...Fuck...lol

Idk, it's weird cause every time I've tripped it's been at like 9 pm. So at like 5am, I'm back in my room trying not to wake my roommate up, and it's just not a good situation. Maybe trip earlier in the day if that's a similar thing for you.

I usually do pushups, but that's my goto thing when I don't know what I want to do

I used to get that feeling up until I thought about it

and I realised that it was stupid.

I'm tripping, I'm having fun, and just because I'm alone right now, doesn't mean a thing.

Just because I'm alone in this moment doesn't mean that I'm always alone, or going to be. There's no reason to think that I'll be alone for the foreseeable future, or even right around the corner.

Just think of your friends, your family and imagine all the other people scattered around the planet who are also tripping face.

The world is full of beautiful people.

:fasted:
Happy New Years.

That used to happen to me all the time when I was younger until I learned how to truly be content by myself

I had that feeling when I was young, alone up in my room, and coming down from a trip. I'd give anything to suddenly have a warm, soft, pretty female in my bed with me.

Wait- that's how I felt all the time, psychedelics or not!

I like tripping alone and with people pretty equally, relationship with ones self is important I feel. But being with people is fuckinkg hilarious.

Tripped a ton with friends in high school. Back then life was all shits and giggles. These days I only trip alone in my room. I'll go out and smoke a cigarette but thats about it. It feels very lonely, it'd defiantly be nice to have a girl who like shrooms as much as me.

It's natural to feel lonely when your alone. The shrooms just make the emotion more intense.

A little meditating / setting an intention for why you are tripping for the day will usually combat this issue. That way later in your trip you just think back on your intention and demolish the bad vibes.  :goodluckwiththat2:

I have felt this before, but after tripping by myself on LSD a couple times now, I have realized that I value my time alone. I have time with my friends and my boyfriend that I love, and tripping with my best friends is a great time; However, being alone is one of the things that I have become accustomed to... I eventually learned that I enjoy my own company. I am perfectly satisfied with walking in the woods to be with my true mother, the Earth.
When I trip alone, I always venture into the forest (ones that I know my way around, or have paths) and feel the incredible energy flowing through the natural creation surrounding me.

Seem to get lost and harder to find.

To think that it fell from my hand..."

The thing with me is I'm usually in meditation and quite far gone in my trips.
It's when I break meditation and fall back into the suchness of reality that I'm like fuck...

On uber high doses by myself I would get this alone feeling.  Almost like I'm the only one left in the universe.  Once I get to the peak of that mountain top I usually realized that me being conscious meant I was a part of it all.

I've talked about this feeling with a few old heads.  General consensus from the people I've talked to so far is that this is usually the point that you start to really dig deep on the "higher power" trip.  It's this moment that made me a pantheist, and I've seen it turn one of my buddies into a stark atheist.  Pretty interesting indeed.  Its kind of an all or nothing thing when it gets to that point.

i get this often when tripping solo. i think it's just about accelerating to a higher vibration where you've just tapped into something far more real than what we are used to accessing, and when you look around and realize it's just you discovering the awe of life and the universe, you feel "different" from everyone else because you were the only one vibrating in that vicinity at the time.

tripping with friends/family negates the feeling of loneliness in my experience, but when i'm alone i do get it, and i overcome it by accepting and welcoming love for myself and enjoying my own thought, audio, visual, and spiritual explorations without the distraction of others.

i enjoy solo trips as much as those with peers. it's just been a while...so it's hard to compare. all i know is i've tripped FAR more frequently solo than with others, and have thus learned much about myself and the way of life. however, my most recent trip with my ex was by far one of the most memorable and beautiful in every way.

in a nutshell, it seems we can all relate to the feeling of loneliness that an LSD experience can bring. i find it to be relatively common
