I never really liked wine, until recently. Turns out I can drink infinite amounts of wine and not get hungover. I prefer white wine though, the only time I got hungover off wine was when I drank 2 full bottles, one red, one white.
I love Tool though, and I've grown to really love wine. I imagine Maynard knows his shit, and his wine is probably really fucking awesome. I wonder, is that found at most liquor stores? Or would you have to order it online

I'm interested in trying it. I think he only does it in Arizona or something like that. hes not like a huge wine distributor. I don't knew all the facts, though.

Most wine, even the expensive stuff is still usually around 11-14% alcohol by volume. It's purely in the taste.

alright I'm going to pop into Somalia mode for just one second more expensive wine does not mean you're going to get drunk anymore than other wine what it does mean though t will have more flavors more specific intricacies to the area that it's from
edit I want to add that I do have my personal favorites of cheap. I've had some wine priced around 40 dollar range that was just amazing so yeah end post

I probly wouldn't drink his vino. Honestly his vineyards are way too young to produce anything with decent tannins at this point, unless he's supplementing with other crops. Wait a few years and buy a bottle, give those vines a chance to mature.

I'd be willing to pay between 5 and 8 for a bottle. He can't expect me to pay for his fame, he would have to compete for the tongue.

I doubt he could. It takes like 20 years for the vines to really start producing fruit that has maturity enough to make good wine. This guy will sell tons of wine based on his name alone.

From what I've heard it's very good. He got in good with a few other local growers who have been making wine for 20+ years and they work together. He has new vineyards he's planted himself and does a decent amount of work there tending the grapes and inspecting the progress during the season. Apparently he's very much made it a big part of his life. He acknowledged in several videos that he blends his grapes with those of his neighbors to achieve the right balances in the wine from the mature grapes from their fields. They all go under the name Merkin Vineyards, as well as Arizona Stonghold. They produce wine under different names as well, while his wine is Caduceus.
Check out their website, it goes into a lot more detail. https://caduceus.org/
Also, while they unfortunately don't ship to my state, I would absolutely love to try some. I've been a tool fan forever, but it's more the fact that MJK puts so much effort in every little thing he touches I can't imagine that it wouldn't be good. Dude has some pretty rigorous standards for himself.

People who buy wine don't give a shit about Tool. He's trying to make good wine for sophisticated wine drinkers. It ain't Thunderbird or Maddog 20-20.

I like Tool, but his wine is trying to stand on its own. Arizona is trying hard to earn some credibility in the wine market. He isn't trying to market his wine to fans only. But he does do wine bottle signings in Tucson, which must be mostly fans.
