a lot of people think they know the ultimate path of life

so like everybody on some level thinks they know what life is all about like not excluding myself
i think basically all of our individual lives that we've lived have brought us to adapt certain perspectives and angles that we hold close to us as safety barriers to protect us from things we deem threatening
we push away concepts and ideas that may have a negative association attached to them in our minds maybe without fully exploring or questioning them to the point of figuring out what the negative associations stem from and whether or not it's completely logical to feel that way
a lot of viewpoints that we naturally adapt can ultimately be tied back into fear or love
it's ultimately an elaborate subconscious ploy to feel accepted and worthy based on what the world suggests to us is needed to be done in order to achieve that state of worth and being
if we're born into a hostile environment we might feel like we have to act hostile towards others in order to achieve our proper role in life because that's what our family figures were doing. if we're born into a more peaceful environment than naturally we'd be more prone to adapting that sort of mentality as well
it ultimately ties back into this animalistic sense of what we think is "the way it has to be" or "the way it was meant to be"
like growing up through childhood the life and world experiences we take part in leave imprints in our mind that say "this is what people do" "this is what we're supposed to do" "this is what these types of people do, that is what those types of people do"
if you speak utter nonsense in a matter-of-fact sort of tone day after day consistently to the same people then they'll probably start to believe it. i think many people generally don't have much of a clue as to what they're talking about in a lot of situations but rather have adapted their opinions as a safety net of sort to whatever makes them the most comfortable
i'm just rambling here a bit
but the point is the same point that i usually get at in my tangents which is the unlimited subjectivity of reality, i mean really there's billions upon billions of people on this earth and here we go day after day people going on and acting as if their opinions and perspectives are set in stone as the right ones and those who speak against them should be condemned on some level. it ultimately stems from fear i think
discuss related matters intelligently

I don't have any delusions about knowing the ultimate path of life. To be real, none of us actually has any fucking clue what life is all about. Sure, there are some logical and convincing theories, but they're all total speculation.

yeah that's one way to look at it and i can definitely vibe with that viewpoint i mean if we're not living for ourselves than what are we living for? Don't get me wrong though we should definitely be here for each other too I think but we can't lose our sense of individuality we wouldn't even be living

Exactly this.
I've find my own path since a couple years ago and my life has been incredible since. It's not a normal path or conventional, but neither am I - I accept that it could always change/reverse/whatever, but it is a path of sorts.

There is only one piece of evidence we all have that can help determine life. That we were all born once AGAINST our will. If it's happened once. Who's to say it won't happen again? Only evidence we have is it happened once. Other than that everything is basically subjective.
If we were born against our will, if things happen to us (like cars hitting us) against our will, and we can't choose our destiny. The only logical explanation is my fate is in the hands of someone else.
Life has a purpose for something else. Something we'll never know. All we do know is we're here now and we're clueless af

yea i hear what ur saying... actually, sometimes it's kind of unnerving how impressionable people are to crap that just rolls off your tongue if you say it with zeal.
when i was younger i was more impressionable. like, i became the person that my family wanted me to be, what my friends expected of me, what role i could most easily fill in a social circle, etc. really, i think this is a positive thing...
in college, i started to take my own path though. the funny thing is, it's when i stopped hanging out with people only when there was a bowl being passed around. i think i got bored with that, and wanted more.
as puerile as it sounds, i started to approach myself like a D&D power gamer, lol. like i decided "ok, this is the kind of person i want to be" and "this is what i really want to do". like i was roleplaying a character. in the end, this approach introduced a lot of drama into the relationships i had with my friends, but... slowly, i started to get better at being "me" and get the kinds of things i wanted (mainly a hell of a lot more money and better relationships with chicks).
edit: lololol, dude i'm all about it. yea i think i was afraid or didnt have faith in god or something... or i just really liked asian chicks who wore tiny pink shorts with their sexy fucking legs hanging out and would've done anything to get next to them if only for a few minutes... lololol

Its hard to truthfully discuss something from the theoretical perspective of being outside yourself.

hmm,
sound has something to do with it, but not everything.
language is a map, not the destination...this is known.
vibrations have something to do with it too, but not everything.

being here for eachother can still be a part of your own path. it's all-inclusive, not exclusive

That's how I feel as well.
Ours is not reason why. Ours is but to do and die.
Well, I do mostly believe that. The absurdity of most things is pretty astounding, but I guess that's why I choose to let my emotions take over more often than not, however foolish that makes me. I'm trying not to question things so much anymore. Maybe someone watches over me.
