Stupid heating pads

Alright so atm i got a little setup going of 18 BRF jars. A week in now and all jars are showing great signs of inoculation. However my concern is i have been using a heating pad to keep my jars above 70 F. I am worried that this dumbass pad is going to dry my jars out and dry out my riz growth. Is this the case? And if so what else can i do to keep the temperature more regulated. All feedback greatly appreciated.

I would just make a heat bomb get yourself a 100 watt aquarium heater and a bottle to fit it in and there u go.
or make a tub in tub incubator I actually got a 200w aquarium heater for trade.

heating pads suck mine is in my basement collecting dust. you are better off trying to raise the over all temp of your house/room. try a space heater with out a fan and keep it pointed away from your grow as not to dry things out.

Heat the room not the jars.

Heat pads WILL dry out your jars. Heat the room that the jars are in, and not the jars directly to remedy this.
Use the search function to look for:
Tub in tub incubator (AKA TiT)
Most small wattage heaters rated for 5-10 gallon aquariums are more than sufficient. I have used a IIRC 5 watt when I used the TiT. I have found that for my purposes, incubating is unnecessary. my home is kept comfortable for me, which is more than sufficient for cube growth. Keeping it simple saves headaches.

incubators are fine if your growing aria is abnormally cold but for the average house with a room temp around 70 to 75 degrees they are unnecessary.

Use the heating pad to make yourself a dehydrator for when your mushies are done. Build a small rectangular box, holes on 4 sides at bottom for intake, hole at top for exhaust fan (small cpu fan will work) with wire mesh shelves in it. Turn on heating pad, turn on small fan, eat dried mushrooms.
