Greetings brothers.
I have a bag of mexicana jalisco fully colonized. beautiful white all around. my interest is in the fruits, and in the stones.
wondering if these are the right next steps.
Step 1: before opening the bag, shake and break up all the mycelium into grains
Step 2: open bag, and place 1 inch of the colonized grains into 1 liters plastic containers should i place more than 1 inch?
Step 3: mix casing with water so that its sufficiently moist
Step 4: place thin layer of wet casing on top of colonized grains A quarter inch of casing?
Step 5: place a wet towel over each 1 liter container, or some people suggest sticky transparent plastic over each container is this correct?
Step 6: place containers back into incubator closet for several days till casing is colonized
Are any of these steps incorrect?

cronicr, brother, thanks for the infos.
i've had really bad luck with my SGFC at least with cubes i get better results using a fruiting bag with a air patch, than with the standard SGFC
do you think i could go with a bag with air patch for the mexicana?

you probly could but i would just use the sgfc and makes sure it's running correctly, there easy enough to troubleshoot http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/13431948#13431948 heres a more detailed write up of stonesuns and you will see he just kept his in the bag and cut the top off and cased it
