Dude I read the shit out of this thread. I just try and refrain from cluttering it with nonsense all though it seems I still do occasionally.

Would their slimy characteristics go away with age? These were not slimy. But given the state that they were found in I suppose it could of washed/frozen off.

Yes, they aren't slimy when they dry out.

Looks like it works pretty well to me. Seems pretty pricey though.
Do you not have a good camera maynard?

Nice shots, man. I really dig the kale and Arrhenia chlorocyanea especially. I think that olloclip is extremely overpriced. The optics won't be better than a cheaper macro adapter on amazon or dx.com. Also check out the photo app called Manual. It gives you manual shutter, ISO, and focus control. The manual focus is especially useful for mushroom photography.

Not really, I have a cannon SX510 HS. I'd like to get a DSLR in the future.

Thanks man. I like that the camera shoots are 60fps, it makes it a lot harder to take blurry pictures.

I think it's Marasmiellus candidus due to the larger size and the central stipe attachment.
That one with the rooting stipe is really cool.

O okay, thanks. I was unsure because I read that the Marasmiellus that looks like this grows mostly on black berry briers
