Hey folks,
Had some live cyan myc on damp cardboard for about 3 weeks now. It looks to be doing ok to me but I would appreciate some re-assurance from people with more experience in cultivation.
I'm going to separate the card in to separate pieces tomorrow as its penetrated trough all layers now. I figure if i do this and give them a few more weeks to inoculate further i can make more beds come spring.
You cant see the top and bottom layers of cardboard in my pics (just the centre of the cardboard sandwich) Its only just coming through the layers that can't be seen, but do the visible layers look ready to transfer into some woodchip? I'm thinking they are.
Any way the pics .. Sorry about the quality, my camera is not doing well and needs replacing. Thanks

Thanks man, good to hear. The card i used was actually corrugated. It separated apart when i pre soaked it.
I was doing a bit of reading up on the next stages earlier. Should i transfer directly to Alder chip? or would sawdust be better to start? Do either of these need to be pasteurized to avoid contams?

Great input, thank you.
Should i be looking to start the next step asap with the card thats visible? The bottom piece is about 60% colonized.
