Hello everyone; two months ago the idea hit me to try this hobby.
Here I am.
Three SGFCs off of BRF cakes.
here are a few pictures of my current.
   I have 50 cakes currently in SGFC's
9.2 dry has been harvested so far... [removed]
...and I tried my first set of these GTs on the 24th - great experience: I may do a write up on it in the needed section! [ I only took 3.5grams:P]
...alright;
my reason for posting is a few questions.
1: is this grain usable? It has entirely too much corn, right? It won't flush out and I tried Lowes, Fred Meyer, Target, and Walmart.. none of them had anything more suitable.
I did however find a #50 bag of Gypsum 2: Is the blue on the cakes/Stems 'the Magic' growing? That is what I like to picture the depths of my inner-workings; please don't take it from me, may as well take my birthday.
I am starting the starts of my next grow as you can see and am moving onto grain! I also have to take my first prints here soon; or well, compare LC vs prints and what not; as I do not know the values of one vs another. I believe I intend to do clones via LC - yeah?
I will be doing two Master Grain jars tomorrow injected with MS - 2CC per jar and Xfering them into the remaining 10 quart jars.
beneath all of this rubble my only real question is - is this grain usable?

corn is okay to use you can us corn alone as a sub.
the bluing is bruising either your too ruff with your cakes or there dehydrated. my guess is dehydrated so make sure you dubk and roll before next flush.
also make a print of your own mushrooms you feel much more acomplished and youll have some to store for later.
but yes i do believe that grain is usable

Hmm,
That has a powdery look to it - I'd keep an eye on that.
Maybe a macro picture of the top of that cake?

it was meant not to be taken seriously- I believe the one pictured has the inner workings of starting Trech! I have distinguished the obvious difference between the two - the blue I was referring to was bruising! :O
thanks for the help :P

I hope you got the trich cake out of there right away. if you let trich hang around it can plague you for a long time.
