Affects of mass subscribtion to a particular set of beliefs?

It seems like groups of people subscribing to a set of beliefs in mass, tend to focus on miniscule parts of the set, that then deteriorate the entire set because of the fringe acts of a few.
IE conspiracy libertarians...and homophobe/prolife Christians to name a couple.
my point is....our little group of humans on this planet has gotten diverse and big enough to require a certain relaxed stance, the whole, live and let live, vibe....
in order for us as a species to succeed we really do need to collaborate rather than destroy.

True but imo we won't. Not in any timely fashion and imo we don't have unlimited time.

Do you at least think that a few of us have the resources and can collaborate efficiently and quickly enough to survive to pass that human gene even in some drastic apocalypse scenario?

No, you are flawed at the core also. Living on a commune taught me that.
