No one has made one yet.
Well, here we go!
I know, we're four days away from 2014, so I am cheating a little bit. But I have to share my finds: found in Marin County yesterday and today. All the Chanterelles were found today.
They say 2013 was the driest calendar year!
Cantharellus. Chanterelles found between Oak, Fir, and Bay. Now in my belly!

Pleurotus. Some were fresh. They're in my belly!

Suillus caerulescens

With scorpion from beneath a log.

Suillus caerulescens with Gomphidius oregonensis. We found tons of these around Douglas firs.

Afterwards we went to Safeway to get some veggies for a gratin, I couldn't believe the price of Chanterelles!

Unknowns, help?:
1.

2.

3.

4.

in response:
2. Tricholoma mycomyces via Mykoweb I should have snapped closer photos of the gills, too.
4. Pluteus cervinus via Mykoweb. Each one I found was grew from a log, as mentioned.

Ooooh I wish I could hunt with one of you. Found my first blewit lady year and only had one. I have been wanting to make more ever since and even found some patches, but I was not able to access a kitchen. Now the slow rainy season is stopping beginner hunting. No fun this year due to Damn drought
