the portable ceramic heaters suck the humidity out of the room like crazy compared to those oil radiator style heaters

Because the SGFC was designed to work off a rooms natural currents, without the need for a pump or airstion or anything.
If you mess with those currents, your humidity will drop.
Using the airstone is only hurting you, as is adding boiling hot water.....you are ruining your humidity...just follow the tek as it is written without deviation for maximum potential.

My humidty with out the airstone is shit, around 60%, with the airstone it's 90-99%. How do you explain that?

My explanation is simple......follow the tek.
If the SGFC was built to spec than the humidity will be perfect, regardless of what some made in china hygrometer says.

You should still fruit at 63 it will just be slow... I fruited at those temps at least.

U got urs to fruit? what strain? how long did it take? my cubes have been "fruiting" for almost 4 weeks and pretty much nothin other then random deformed white blobs here and there and what looks like white skinny strands that would turn into mycelium just dissapear after a day:/

Hey, I just bought a portable heater....it ended up having a fan, The current isn't that strong and I placed it on a shelf above my shotgun. Will my shotgun be fine? or are the sutle air currents that aren't even hitting my chamber directly going to fuck it up?
