Newbie needs some advice! First attempt at PF TEK

Hi Shroomery. My first post here.
I recently decided to give growing my own mushrooms a go. I have followed the PF TEK with BRF cakes to a T.
I started with 12 cakes, 1 grew a green spot so i tossed it.
Now of the remaining 11, 1 has done nothing, 5 are very slow at developing any mycellium (although they do have some) and the remaining 5 are almost 80-90% mycellium.
I am 4 weeks into my adventure and i am curious why there is so much of a disparity between jars.
Any advice as to why the 5 are slow and the 1 isn't doing anything?
Also, how much longer can i keep them in their incubator? Until they are 100% mycellium?
Any advice is appreciated, i can answer any questions or provide pitures if it helps

The jars are sitting at 28 degrees celsius in a double tub (black) incubation chamber with an aquarium heater in a cupboard. The daytime temp here is quite warm too.

multispore is when you use spores to start growing you can throw your jars that are farther along inside of the refridgerator to slow down there growth while the others catch up if you want but thats a personal choice i dont ten t have to issue normally

theres thousands of spores in a syringe, some will germinate and some won't. i could go into much farther detail for you but i will spare you the trouble lol, just know that some strains created by the multispore injection will grow faster then others and everything is a crapshoot.

Ok thankyou for the advice.
How long exactly can the slow jars stay in the incubator until it's just been too long?
Can i possibly put the faster jars into the fruiting chamber once they start pinning and do the slower jars at a later date?
This newbie appreciates any help.
This is my first attempt, and i would like to refine the process in the near future

So it's a game of chance? Leave them to hopefully pin or die?

not really a game of chance if it's taking it's sweet time just let it, if it's not contammed just be patient

Not enough info for a true reason why 5 are slow and 1 nothing. First ate all jars innoc with same syringe? Next where all jars packed the same meaning how fluffy was it when put it in jars some could be packed in tighter than others, easily done if your a noob. Also your neddle could have picked up some contams which the myc are contending with. Always keep a nose to your jars if the smell is different on one that looks strange you probally have a bar jar. Hope this helps hard to say without more details about type & way your innoc went down. Red hot needle between jars? Good luck hope you have some success on first attempted, you might lose some jars but dont let it ge to ya....

I made my own spore syringes. 4 between 12 jars. Red hot between jars, everything completely sterile and rubbed down with isopropyl. I conducte everything in front of a flowhood. I also wore gloves.
Some jars do look more compacted than others, i however did not compact any of them, i think it was luck of the draw. I take it tightly compacted isn't as good for growth?
I'm not too downtrodden by the results, even if i get 1 jar to come to fruit i will be happy.

Here is some tips from me to you before you enter the fruitin chamber. Make sure your cakes are 100% colonize then wait a week longer(consolidation). Once consolidation is reached take and do the 24hr dunk not 12 not 18 maybe 22 seems the cake doesn't take in much water until after 20hrs submersed in water, you will notice the weight of the cake should feel close to the weight of a baseball agter the dunk this also helps with not having to mist as offend because cake is hydrated with its own water. These tips will give you the fastest fruits with your PF Tek. Becareful misting if you are seeing the fuzzy knots forming on the cake misting can slow the formation of pins and make for a longer time before fruits, remember we already hydrayed the cakes for 24hrs. I hope your FC is at 95%- 100% humidity with little change when you do your FAE mutiple times each day or as much as possible. Hope your cakes are contaim free and you get your rewards. Hoped this parts helps its what works for me everytime. Remember (consolidation is important, really important) oh yeah I only use SPRING OR DISTILLED WATER WHEN DUNKING, unless you know your water isn't chemically treated, I don't take chances...

AND DON'T FORGET THE ROLL IN CLEAN VERMICULITE AFTER THE 24hr DUNK THEN MIST ALOT 15 MIN AFTER PLACED IN FC TO GET THE VERMICULITE TO STICK. ONLY MIST HEAVY THE FIRST DAY THEN GO LIGHTER UNTIL THE FUZZY KNOTS SHOW, PINS WILL FOLLOW THEN NO MIST....

This is my first attempt, and i would like to refine the process in the near future
Ditch the incubator unless your house is excessively cold. Mycelium grows well in temps 65-82 F. Temps above this tend to slow mushroom mycelium and encourage contams.
The jars in my sig colonized in a little over 2 weeks in a house that was constantly 70 F.
Also I can't tell you how important shaking your spore syringe well is to successful grows. Ive had jars only germinate in one hole point because I didnt shake.
