looks like they just started. when did you knock them up? wait till you get a decent amount of growth then shake them. usually a couple shakes till they're fully colonized.

those are not colonized yet. Lots of points are colonized so those will spread and get the rest of the grains it just needs some more time

I have a jar of mazatapec's that's been colonizing for 6+ weeks... no contams, it's just being reallllllly slow... by comparison I have 4 jars of GT that i noc'd up the same day and they're already fruiting...
these buggers do what they want to do when they want to do it at their own pace...
tho I'd ask what your ambient temp is where you're keeping the jars, perhaps it's a bit cool?

That's definitely a factor then. try and get it up closer to 70 and you'll see better, quicker performance.

those are almost there but i would be worried about those grains soaked/stuck to the glass they look like they wanna go slimey
Don't shake more than once before you're ready to spawn. Pan mycelium is whispy at first, but looks very similar to cubes when the jar is fully colonized(white). If yours doesn't look fully colonized after a month, I'd suspect bacteria contamination. You should be able to get a sniff through the filter. If it stinks it's fucked

took a snif on top...smells normal, isnt this bacillus stuff airborne? now I'm fucked!!!:O Both of my jars of cyans have this only on top though... it's not a weird color or anything though can't it be just moisture? What do u guys suggest I do? How can I prevent this in the future?

it's just happening where you got condensation on the top of your jar and the grains stuck to the glass, they thrive on overly wet grains like that, you could try shake it up a bit and distribute the moisture

now that I looked at it carefully both of my jars have what looks like water droplets on the lid facing inwards into the jar. Just realized that I stupidly stored both jars in 2 layer of blankets all snugged in to increase temp, but they wheren't gettin any FAE. Could this be the reason for the water/bacteria? Should I worry about my safety and lettin the jars colonize in my closet?

if it is bacillus i would imagine it would thrive on a bulk sub at field capacity so idk maybe post it in 13shrooms AMU i would personnely give it a gentle shake but don't take any drastic measures till you get a definitive answer, kizzle is our contam expert lol
