Shroomery Linux Distribution

Well, nowadays to me it seems like there are so many linux distributions around, why not just compile one for the Shroomerites who are also free in their technological world.
Linux is open source. Psilocybin opens your mind. The two go hand in hand.
Anyways, would you download it and install it personally? I'd base it off what linux-educated users wanted as features. I would maintain this project for as long as I see popularity in the project. Hell, I could host it on a personal server at home.
Would it be a good idea for our open-source computing fans?
What package manager (if any)?
What desktop environment (if any)?
Love to hear feedback!

I suggest you go here: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org
Then put together your very own system.

Sounds like a silly idea... But, it would be interesting to see what would come about if it did happen. I'm envisioning something similar to Bodhi linux with security upgrades.

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called "Linux", and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.
There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called "Linux" distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.

You do realize that it is a shit ton of work right?
"What desktop environment (if any)?" Well I do think it would be pretty funny to see a bunch of drunk, stoned & high people trying to read and respond to posts from the CLI.

Lynx web browser

I tested it and it works alright with shroomery. At least on my machine.
Not a shit ton of work, I could get it done in less than 3 hours if I have a compiler toolchain which requires about 4 hours of work. Fortunately, I have one for the latest binutils and gcc

I started on LFS back in the good old days of 2007. You get to memorizing it.

If someone does proceed with this idea, I highly urge you to include a version of Pixemetre for mushroom microscopy & identification along with a macroscopic identification app that works offline.
You could include a library of scientific publications and free e-books too - with the installation.
