Monotub Mix ratio Question... What % Manure?

Hey, I was wondering if anyone has had better success adding horse manure to their basic 50/50 coir/verm mix? I was thinking about adding like 10% or 20% Horse manure to the mix? Will I see any added benefit? I was able to get my hands on some great quality aged manure and was wanting to try adding some..
Thanks!

Manure is an excellent source of nutrients for mushrooms. You'll need to properly pasteurize your subrate mixture, however, when using manure.
Also, it's not 50% coir & 50% verm, it's more like 70% coir & 30% verm via the bucket tek.

Cubensis (and many other psychoactive species) flourish on 100% horse manure; it's what they evolved to do, after all. Vermiculite is great for minerals and moisture retention, so I'd go with about 30% verm, but any amount of horse poo you want to use, from 0% to 70%, will work just fine.

Hey
Some of my best trays were the small tubs with straw and hpoo. I did 10:1 straw:hpoo. I was limited on the hpoo so I wanted to stretch it out. I think the coir vermiculite is pretty nutritious on it's own so any hpoo would be a great addition even at a lower ratio like 20%.
Good Luck Shaq
