Interesting choices of songs. Ambient music seems to innately carry a 'haunting' feel to it. I think 'shoegaze' is another genre that has a definite 'haunting' feel.
This:
I listened to this song once while frying harder than I've ever fried on any psychedelic ever (definitely not my choice of song, ending up taking far more than I thought I had of the drug, and I didn't have a music list set beforehand, and I was far to incoherent to change the song). I think I peaked on 4-aco-dmt, was about to be dissolved into infinite, thinking about my life choices, when all of a sudden that song came on...... every fucking verse hit me emotionally like a ton of bricks and I felt like I was 'leaping' off of individual notes into deeper recesses of the abyss.
here's another (more upbeat) haunter:
I cried to this song once:
I could keep going, but I'll stop here:
anybody into psychedelic rock?

Yes but it may be hard to get your hands on. Edgar Winters Entrance. The first side of the LP is called a Winter's dream. It's about as strange as they get and still makes sense. One of my all time favorites.

That song is very strange to me and haunting but I'm not really sure why. The whole thing is obviously a metaphor.

Call me a simpleton, but this song always haunts me when I am journeying and listen to it....must be something hidden deep down inside me.
