I think I just had a kundalini awakening..

So ive been a pretty regular meditator for almost 2 years. My practices havent been as regular lately, and ive been a social outcast lately. A lot of stress and anger was running through my mind.
I went outside to smoke a bit of herbal incense ( the strong stuff ) and my heart started beating fast and the usual. I heard a constant sound of wind, so i focused my attention on it. After i went inside to sit down, i was at a strong high. I had also taken many hydrocodone. I was doing it to hide my alienation and deep emotional pain.
I felt a very very strong opening, its very hard to describe but it felt like white hot light starting at the bottom of my spine. I guided it up through my chakras and felt a crown of energy floating above my head. It took me until now to realize it was probably kundalini.
I had a lot of energy flowing through my body and my heart was pounding. I controlled my breathing and it slowed down a bit. After that i found answers to things i didnt even know wrre holding me back. Im wondering if this was the real deal, i know cannabanoids probably arent the best way to activate it. I feel normal today for the most part.

See if you can focus in the center of the brain behind the brow and get a focused concentrated tingling sensation.

Disciple: Master, I just had tingling all over along with some dizziness. Am I finally becoming awakened?
Master: You are severely hypoglycemic. Go see your doctor.

Thank you for the replies. I will continue with an open mind. Focusing on that spot has very interesting things that come with it. Its amazing that we can manipulate these things through the power of our minds.

It is amazing that emotional overload + drugs makes your heart race? Not really news.

I would worry more about the hydrocodone, it being in the opioids family..
Personally I have found that meditation and cannabis (in moderation) can go very well together, also with mushrooms for that matter. Have been in a state of satori for a couple of weeks while meditating daily + smoking tiny amounts of herb.

I was just researching any possible correlations between weed and kundalini. bc a few days ago I ate a kordova brownie and became higher than Ive ever been. my spine felt "possessed" and started to vibrate uncomfortably in serpentine like patterns. I had visions of snakes and aliens and thought my spine would snap at any moment. very scary stuff.

It must have been a kundalini awakening. I was tripping at work the other day, it was like being on acid minus the visuals. Crazy feeling. I stopped meditating and have been grounding myself as much as possible. My 3rd eye is always open. Im doing Aya this weekend, ive heard it helps balance these energies, but also help raise my consciousness. If anybody wants to learn more about the kundalini, a quick google search reveals many experiences. When people break their tailbones, occasionally they have an awakening. They may have to visit a mental hospital. Personally, i feel as though i had to relearn my personality. I feel different than everyone around me. Very crazy stuff..

Mine was simply the feeling of a physical serpent going up my spine. I was 17-20 (can't remember, a lot happened in that time period) and the poster child for a "Goody two shoes" I went to church every week (alone at night, broke into the church). Never did any drugs or drank any alcohol. (until 21 when I became a traveler )
Yeah, a physical serpent...I was just chilling out in my room watching my thoughts when I "heard" (It was certainly a sound only I could hear, like attending a concert in a dream) a low faint "thum". It was incredibly faint so I listened hard and that's when I felt it uncoil which was a major "WTF?!" moment.
I've handled snakes before at a camp where I got to be a caretaker of the snake exhibit for a week. I could feel the "muscles" rippling as it slithered slowly* up and around my spine. It ended its journey coiled around my brain with it's head resting just above the center of my eyebrows.
Funnily enough now I wear this at work
I should add that I think I know exactly how the OP feels with his experience. Can't tell you how many times I was lit on "fire" by "spirit" when I broke into that church and had my one on ones with god.
I put it in quotes cause, well I could have been hypnotizing myself. Still might be, but it sure feels good. Whatever label we put on it* it's still AWEsome.

Interesting that it happened so young in your case. Usually it takes intense stress, drugs, and intentional practice to get that to happen like that. The kundalini is a healing force, thats why it is the symbol for hospitals and doctors. Interesting, i'd say. Does your life feel any different today as a result of the awakening? If so, how so? It is a very ungrounded feeling for me, where i feel like im halfway in a different dimension able to feel subtle energies such as the emotions of other people. Also, it has been said that the heart produces a magnetic field. After kundalini, it is amplified to the greatest extent. Making other people able to feel your energy.
