I think you will probably end up with a mushy cake after PCing it, but you should be able to colonize it. Good luck getting it out of the jar. 
Let us know how it goes after PCing.

NIce, curious to see if that survived.
I've put extra grain jars in the fridge for a few days before pc'ing them and they've been fine... room temps are bad mmmkay.

I inoculated with a multispore syringe, Ecuador, 1 cc on the 30th and I have yet to see any growth. Not a good sign but I've been surprised before.

it's only been 8 days, be patient... i once had a jar that took 2 weeks just to start showing...

In case you can't tell from the picture the mycelium is incredibly WHITE / THICK. Any ideas for why this is? I have other jars that also recently germinated but they're much more straggly / whispy.
