Bruising of fruits varying between flushes

Have any of you noticed a difference on this? I suppose you could really only test this accurately with an isolate. I did a quick search and didn't find much on this. Perhaps it doesn't matter because I was under the impression that bruising is just another genetic trait and not directly related to potency. I am guessing environmental conditions effect this too. It is pretty hard to keep misting and FAE the same unless you are using a MARTHA or something. With cakes this is pretty impossible.
I don't really have much of a reason for asking this I just have observed what appear to be changes. Just curious what you master cultivators have to say about this

Bruising can occur due to water loss, and later flushes don't have the same water reserves or retention. Thus I could see later flushes bruising easier, but that's not actual evidence. I've seen some heavy bruising PE clusters blue and dent the mycelium around them as they quickly drew water from it. Often the spent sub ended its run baby blue.

Bruising doesn't really have to do with potency. Azurescenes are quite potent and yet they completely elude the bluing reaction. I'd say it has more to do with either loss of moisture/drying or genetics, especially if it's multispore because of the greater genetic variation.

i've seen hundreds if not thousands of pelliculosa that go a deep blue from neither, mostly after a heavy frost, indoor cases it's almost always environmental until you harvest IMO

Strongest trip I ever had was from a solid white cube... no bruising anywhere. I am not convinced that more bruising = more potency.
