Is the multiverse a fractal?

Get ready buckle up, buster. We're gonna tackle some next-level shit.
Lately on acid, I've been thinking a lot of stuff, and one of the topics is the multiverse. To me, I see it as there's either just one universe or an infinite number of universes, because why would it stop at 7? or 700? or 70667? That's just not how it would work, I don't think.
It has to be all or nothing. Which got me thinking, if it's an infinite number of universes, would that mean they fractal outwards/inwards? It would also kind of explain why the universe is finite but ever-expanding.
What are you thoughts on this? Sorry if what I wrote is disorganised.

string theory might have the answer for you
it predicts at least a finite number of universes that is very large
if you have a better idea, make a contribution
but unless your idea can be tested it is pointless really, just mental abstractions what in everyday life makes you think we have infinite dimensions/universes, and how would you test it? does infinite universes/dimensions fit into your life experience?
if you can answer these questions you might be onto something

Hmm, well my mind trails off a lot (I'm not mad I swear! haha) so that's how I think about infinite dimensions and universes, but I dunno how you'd test it, they're all occurring outside of our universe, something that bounds us.

often mad peoples minds trail off a lot
I like to just observe/sit in nature and observe, everything is clear during and afterwards
there wont even be any doubt, and not any need to know things that are irrelevant, only things that are relevant :-)
personally I dont think a higher spiritual reality is unlikely, and this reality/physical being a subset of it but that is just my personal faith

Mio is right -- at this point the Multiverse concept is religion, not science. Totally untestable.
That said, I very much subscribe to it. My ideas sort of come together into the multiverse, I don't really know how to explain why I feel this way so I'm not going to try.
But, for anyone who's interested, I did come up with a little thought experiment that I would like to share (very brief, elementary version):
If Psi (the vertical axis of the quantum mechanical wavefunction, which gives a probability of finding a particle in some quantum state), is somehow made to change its value, then one no longer equals itself.
In other words, if someone were to somehow dilate psi values (psi means other things too), one could equal other numbers than itself. One could equal zero.
One could equal infinity -- which would reveal the multiverse! (This would mean that the one universe (ours) is equivalent to an infinite number of universes. In other words, a Level II multiverse.)
This is very abstract, not mathematically rigorous and wholly metaphorical. But... I think valid, on some level.

Those idiots that call themselves physisists have been walking around the porrige for qn eternity.. you gotto know everything at once, including nothing.. which is actually many things..
-------------------- And thus begins the reverse-fusing of our one-dimentional understanding, and adds ever-expanding perspectives, in depth and number; splitting our perception, and in so doing, seemingly irrationally, creates yet more one-ness, with all that ever was, is and will ever be, streching across the infinite, inunderstood concept of everything, percievable and not.

Does the multiverse theory include consciousness and biotic life, or just abiotic dust and gas and matter and stuff.?

Yes I did another question that I should have posted here. That means you'd get universes with different amounts of consciousness and some universes with no consciousness at all.
Maybe universes with no consciousness exist anyway, but there'd be no way of knowing. Because whether the universe exists outside our own mind we will never know.

If everything I am is a wave, there might be a wave somewhere just like me
a clone of me ;-)
maybe in another dimension, maybe in these dimensions
but if dimensions are just extensions of these dimensions, then just call the new dimensions new universes
picture dimensions like waves on a string with a certain frequency
tune into altered dimensions and universes
change base frequency of the mind
mind is the universe (buddhism)

That looks trippy as fuck. Patterns in nature are incredible.. Why do people wanna fuck it all up with gene re-sequencing?
