Power Outage cold temperatures and sub prime conditions

ok so i live in mi and we had an ice storm a few days back that crippled our power for the last few days. i had no idea of the extent for about a day, normally when we lose power in the city its back on within a couple hours. this however is much different, every street in a 15-20 mile radius has trees down with power and cable lines mixed in. the cakes were in 55 degree temps for about 12 hours i would say, the first night retained most of the heat in the house but after that it started to get pretty cold, outside temps were in the 20s.
i was able to transfer my 2 sgfc that were loaded with 12 1/2 pint brf cakes to a friends house. they were literally just starting to pin when the power went out. the pinning has definitely slowed down and the couple that were fruiting produced smaller fruits than the 2 jars that flushed prior to the outage. the place i took them was around 60-64 degrees with minimal humidity. my question is if i redunk the cakes, they do appear and feel a little dehdrated, and get them back into my house with optimal conditions, will they come back as strong as the first flush should have been? i mean the nutrients aren't spent right? i just waited 40 days for those jars to colonize and i have probably 6 grams dry off the two cakes that fruited normally. i just hope this weather didn't royally screw me over.
also one other question, i had some spores in the fridge, theres no way the temps could have gone over 50 degrees or so, (it was 50 in the house by the 2nd day of no power) is that too warm for them?

wow so my roommate just confirmed, we just got power back so i will be getting my room back up to 72 degrees with 40-50 rh. please someone tell me my 2 months of waiting wasn't wasted by 3-4 crummy winter nights (the little guys only had to brave maybe 4-6 hours of cold dry air).

Your cakes will probably be fine, and your syringes most definitely will be. They survived in the mail on the way to your house, right?
On a side note, this is the perfect time for you to buy a PC, some birdseed, and a syringe full of woodlover spores. There's going to be a lot of fresh mulch for you to exploit this spring.

well as i did when i started the brf i will have to start doing some serious investigating on that. this website has been one of the best things to ever happen to me.
i just want to say thanks again. i absolutely love this hobby and this site has given me the tools and knowledge to succeed. majority of people here are extremely helpful and insightful. this was only my 2nd attempt and i knocked up 12/12 jars with 0 contams, and like i said they were all right on the verge of pinning pretty well when i had to move them. i am looking forward to my monotub project i had planned next.

also i think all the cakes, maybe 2 didn't, had pins starting should i re dunk with the pins or small fruits or pick them off and sort of start over. i wasn't sure if cakes knew how many times they had flushed or if the nutrients remaining would tell the cakes how many fruits it can still produce. thanks again!!!

flush is a human word lol cakes do not know the meaning of it, leave the pins there fine to dunk and sometimes will triple in size during the dunk, if there fairly large pins that may fall off you can also sit the cake in a saucer of water over night

if a cake isn't dehydrated and is re dunked for 24 hours is that bad? i was considering just taking all 12 cakes and dunking them, what do you think?

lol i know i'm just saying there can be times where the sub constantly pushes fruits out and never really has a solid "flush" you can have your first set of fruits maturing and your second flush coming in as pins.

no it's not bad just rinse well after and don't mist till the surface starts to dry up
