Do a quick search to find hiking locations near your area, or any secluded wooded areas close by. I find that tripping in the woods can be extremely rewarding, although it's best if there are not many other people roaming around the paths.
Hope you find a good location! There's no place I feel more at home than nature.

Bring a coat and an extra pair of wool socks.

Just google state parks or forest preserves. I'm sure there is one within a reasonable distance.

Don't settle for a location that feels sketch; it may be that your town is no good for this and you'll have to wait for an opportunity to travel elsewhere. Also, bring an extra coat and wool socks.

Bring a good amount of water, too! And extra wool socks.

I would recommend a mountain setting if you can find one and get to it. Find a mountain. Find a secluded spot with a great view and munch.

Wool socks!
Just being outside and having a little bit of nature around helps, you don't have to find some wilderness to enjoy a nature trip.
If your town is really shit for places to hike, and driving out to somewhere is out of the question then you could try a nearby park or cemetary. I personally prefer the cemetary over a park because cemetaries are generally less crowded and the people in them tend to mind their own business.
In every town I have ever lived in there was always at least one cemetary that I really liked. I don't know how that kind of thing suits you, but it really isn't as creepy as it might sound; a lot of cemetaries are beautiful, and if you aren't being disrespectful then nobody is going to bother you. A day trip or early evening trip at a nice cemetary can be a phenomenal time.
OR I suggest finding some "forgotten" places in or around your town (assuming that you know your area).
By fogotten I mean marginalized areas that "normal" people, have forgotten, or don't care about, or whatever. You should know the kinda places I'm talking about. Every town I have lived in has them. In bigger towns and cities these places are where the vagrants tend to gather. In smaller towns these are the 'secret' places where highschoolers and underage college students gather to get drunk and smoke weed. And in some towns there are places that seem to be forgotten or go unnoticed by nearly everybody. Some of these types of places have been my favorites. I have known abandoned gravel pits, and delapidated train tressels, forgotten junk yards full of old rusting cars, and all kinds of neat places
You have options, but definately be sure everybody is comfortable with the place you choose to go. be creative, be safe, be wise.
And dress appropriately for the weather like everyone was saying. You can always take clothes off if you get too warm, and you can't put clothes on that you didn't bring with you.

Definitely bring water and maybe some snacks like fruit. If you're gonna be taking a lot just make sure it's an area where not many people go and make sure you're not trespassing. Other than that anything goes really. It's awesome tripping in the woods or by a lake or something.

The "Forgotten" places and neglected forest areas are some of the most interesting places I've been. I have had many peaceful places in my area that I like to go and sit, be alone, and smoke sometimes. It can be very rewarding to be in a remote place full of natural life.

I agree with the above, but also a word of caution:
I took a nature hike to a beautiful local woods with a secluded pond by a grassy hillside as the destination.
By the time I got there, the LSD was kicking in strongly and I had two problems: 1)the path I was on had a lot of small bits of trash and pollution, so I started getting bad vibes about humanity and about those woods. It all started to feel really poisoned and malevolent, and this took me down a pretty bad serious of experiences that I'd rather not repeat.
2)After I 'escaped' from the polluted woods into a big meadow, the meadow took the bad vibes from my previous scenario and translated it into an overgrowing vine choked insect and snake laden "nature BEAST" that was basically all living organisms reproducing and growing at their fastest possible rate all so that they could choke out all other living organisms and compete to be the dominant life form.
So, very bad vibes are still possible in nature.
And this is coming from a total nature loving hippy camping kind of guy.

LOL thats funny you got the bad vibes from the trash and about humanity. I had the same problem when walking some trails on shrooms. There was this one trail where there was construction going on for a bridge or something so they blocked off the entrance to it with all sorts of broken trees and sht, and then put a ''warning going past this point is a felony blah blah blah'' sign in front.
And of course the construction guys littered all over. It truly offended me at the time lol. I felt like nature was this beautiful thing adn we are ruining it.
SO yea OP, expect to appreciate nature on a WHOLE new level. lol
