I've tried chia seeds and hemp seeds. Both are healthy but when comparing nutritional values, hemp seed wins. Now, what are some other healthy seeds? I'm looking to try poppy seeds. Are these any good? They usually come in different variation, some are papaver somniferum, etc. Is this the type I should be looking for? I use seeds to sprinkle on my cereal.

In any case, I'd grind the seeds or go for ones that are a bit bigger to prevent them from passing through your gastric tract without damage. Because then they can be as nutritious as all hell, but it won't benefit you at all
Also, I don't really believe in 'the healthiest seeds'; I'd say variation is key. Instead of cereal, try mixing several nuts, seeds and berries and eat that with (soy) yogurt. Makes for an awesome breakfast You can alter the mix whenever you like and if you use soy yogurt and no actual cereal, it's easy to have a nutritious, wholesome gluten- and lactose free breakfast. Which, of course, may not be an issue to you, but there are many people today who like to go that route, with or without a real cause.

Try poppy seed rolls or sesame, but on cereal kinda sounds a bit iffy. Now maybe sunflower kernels in cereal might work. Even though they are a seed they are more like a nut. Or poppy seed paste like used in poppy rolls or cookies http://www.solofoods.com/product/baker-poppy-seed-filling . Even grits are made from seeds.

why not mix various seeds and grains? like some spelt, chia, hemp, flax, goji berries, pumpkin seed, and psillium fiber? I dont like soy, but I do like pro-biotic yogurts. All of this stuff mixed with some MCT oil actually taste pretty good.
It should also help you shit like a pro.
