Beautiful pictures my friend, I'm super jealous that there's still mushrooms around where you live. Which camera are you using?

I am so jealous of this.
There is so little around here that it's just depressing. The weather is what most people consider nice; sunny, warm although too much smog for my taste. I do get out to get a bike ride in almost every day, but I'd rather be getting soaked to the bone, muddy and shooting pictures of so many fungi I couldn't begin to count them all.

I will pray for the weather pattern we are not to discuss for you.

We should make a thread that's only discussion about the weather, I wonder if the good lord Rockefeller will permit it...

Cool finds! how would you rate the flavor of A. muscaria? I've heard some people say it tastes really good.
Too busy looking at the pics that i didn't read the captions. anyway, cool finds!

Cool that you ran into SOMA there. They invited me to that but I was at the Nevada City fair.
Your Entoloma is super awesome, I hope you saved some dried material.
I have never seen or heard of blue staining on a Gomphidius before, hope you saved that also.
Nice porcini!
Your Amanita franchetii has recently been described by Dimitar as Amanita augusta. It's a good edible. The real A. franchetii is a European species.
Your Agaricus might be A. semotus. Your chanterelle is Cantharellus roseocanus.
The raccoons tail might be an old porcupine tail.
Your Rhodocollybia is a Phaeocollybia.
"These things" are Gliophorus laetus.

Thanks for posting, Apple! Very entertaining read, can't imagine how fun it was to be there with all those fresh mushrooms at the peak of their health, quivering to have their photos taken.
