I very highly doubt that they grow anywhere south of macon, but no harm checking.

Ive found absoulutely NOTHING but little white inactive shrooms growing on sod. I went hunting all day Tues. (the day after it rained). I was very disapointed. We got very little rain on Monday, but I was stil holding out hope. Just to save ya'll a fruitless search, I looked EVERYWHERE. All my old spots from last year and a bunch of new spots. The forcast calls for rain next Tuesday. I wish hurricane Isabel would bring some rain out this way sooner, but that doesn't look hopeful. If you find any Weilii's please please please post some pics, or at least inform other fellow hunters. Also, don't be STUPID!. The last thing we need is someone fucking it up for all of us. If someone asks what your doing creeping around their hood, say you lost your cat Fifi and youre looking for her. If youre in a public place (i.e. a park) and someone hassles you, say you lost a frisbee. Do NOT say you're hunting for shrooms. Sorry to be captain obvious but I'd hate to see cops cruising around looking for hunters. HAPPY HUNTING

Nah, it doesn't need to warm up at all, this has been perfect Ps. weilii weather, all except the shortage of rain. This year just hasn't been a good year for Ps. weilii. When we finally do get rain there will be some decent harvests to be made, but nothing like last year.

As requested via PM by joeshitragpicker...Some bulk harvest pics of last year, and this is only the tip of the iceberg, I had lots of hauls like this these next few.

"My friend always asks the owner "mind if I search you field for mushrooms" and never had a problem"
I dont just SAY it like that, I add drama and intrigue and a bit of southern home style acent.. works like a charm!
Sometimes I feel I deceive them, oh well..
As for weilli, me and a friend went hunting 2 days after a short scattered thunderstorms a few days ago... no weilli, no mushrooms at all.
Break the flood gates prz!

LK said "When we finally do get rain there will be some decent harvests to be made, but nothing like last year"
No disrespect, but how are you so sure the fruits won't be what they were last year? I've heard you mention this in a couple of posts. I've gone through last years posts, and the real season didn't even start till right about now (second week of september). I think we're just waiting on rain. Isn't it true that last year you found a lot more spots, and a lot of people starting finding patches as well, making it seem like it was more prolific than previous years. Or do you actually think last year there were actually more weilii than the previous year?
