Bruising has been there since day 1-2 of putting them in. I misted it a bit to closely i think, also when i dunked them and rinsed there was a plate ontop of the bucket being dunked in and I rinsed maybe pressing a bit to hard on the cake. If you mean on the shroom yesterday or today I believe.

I've gotten bruising just like this from dehydration I increased misting, dunks help if your cakes feel hella light, and it never hurts to rehydrate your perlite if your climate's RH is low... the plate on top of my cakes has caused some serious bruising as well sometimes it seems..? just what I've found so far

nice. any idea what your climate's rh is? mine goes between 30-40%... could explain some of the bruising, from my experience the bruising from a plate during a dunk or something should be an isolated section... shouldn't be too hard to tell. bluing throughout the cake occurred for me when my cakes were drying out
edit: even when my cakes got dehydrated like this I got at least an eighth per cake dry first flush, which isn't great but isn't a failure either... sound like you'll get a decent product regardless

According to my digi it can be anywhere between 30-60% but digi sucks so who knows what thats actually at.
My cakes are quite moist actually i mist them 3-4 times a day i think it was the perlite.

cool I mist 5-6 times a day in my environment... shit gets especially dry during the winter here.
how deep is your perlite? increasing mine from 4" to 5-6" helped me as well.

quite hammered so its all good my dry cakes gave my fucked up fruits but luckily no caps split or cracked... fixed the humidity pretty quick as well, but seems like once the cakes get blue its hard to fix em. I gave a couple of the cakes extra dunks though and that seemed to help quite a bit.
edit: regardless of the shit that happened to my cakes, my mini-tubs in the same room turned out really quite great first try. there are definitely advantages to the pf tek too, but just gonna throw that out there for the OP

bruising isn't the end of the world just an indicator that you need to change something up or your fruits are sucking alot of moisture out of your sub

Just finished rewatering i let it sit in the tub for a while, I grew tired of leaving it there so its back in the closet a few drops coming out the bottem but not that bad.

hahaha.
5 inches works for me... and the weight of the perlite makes the bottom of my tub bend in towards the middle so the remaining water drains out only one or two holes, I have it elevated enough to put a large bowl underneath and catch it after rinsing the perlite down in the shower
