Fruiting Phase - Possible contamination?

Hey guys, it's my first post on here. I searched high and low, but couldn't find anything quite like this situation.
There are 2 terrariums with cakes that colonized without apparent contamination. They have been in there for ~15-20 days at an average of 93-98% humidity, 75 deg F, and a 12-on/12-off CFL light cycle. Impatience took over, so a few days ago, they were vented with the lids off for about 8 hours because of a fear of the humidity being too high (is this possible?) The result is in the pictures.

Was something done wrong? Is there still growth potential? Should it be trusted, if so? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

That's bruising and not contamination. I wouldn't worry that much.
Bruising can happen when there's a drop in Rh or when the cakes are handled. That event you refer might have had some influence.
Regarding humidity (Rh), for cakes it's 95+, so you're mostly within the limits.
I would try keeping a steady Rh and, perhaps, drop the temp 10 deg F for 24 hours, then rise it again.
What about fanning or any other air exchanges ?

Regarding air exchange, fanning is done 3 times daily; 9am, 3pm, and 9pm. There are also a few small holes poked into the sides of the terrariums for CO2 release (if they get there).
Is there expected growth from these cakes still despite the bruising?
Thank you for your response, as well. It alleviated a lot of worry.

My favrite saying by RR. "There's no such thing as to much humidity" if you can get it to 100% do it
