The psychedelic mind state is a very suggestible and vulnerable one, to positive and negative influences and with the subconscious barrier bypassed, a traumatic experience could instil deep seated, long lasting negative effects on psychological well being, even causing changes in personality, given the dose and depth reached.

It just sounds like an all around ridiculously stupid idea, to intentionally have a bad trip.

It goes completely against the entire point of safety and preparation guidelines when using psychedelics, for any reason and especially for therapeutic purposes.

I can't believe this already hasn't been suggested. NO INTERNET. For 30 days. Fuck it. I'm going to start this today and I'll see if I can make it. The only exclusion is for research for class but other than that no exceptions. I will report back if I succeeded or not. This is gonna be a hell of a challenge for me at least.

And with my boredom I will likely be doing the other challenges.

- Gradually cut meat from your diet and replace it with beans and nuts

- Stop drink pop and these water and sugar juices

- Cut sodium from your diet

- Set a schedule to clean your room/house on a frequent basis that you will respect

- Buy 3 house plants 30$

- Make something from your own hands

- Start reading none fiction books

- Refine one of your skill you always thought about refining but never did anything about it

- Quit smoking cigarettes (tough one, but feasible)

- Buy better looking clothes if you can afford it

- Invest in tooth whitening equipment (new toothbrush, whitening toothpaste and mouth wash) 30$

- Do the first steps to get back to school, look for a program, get informed about it

- Start doing some puzzles such as sudokus and crosswords, it keeps the brain fit!

- Walk an hour a day

- Jigsaw puzzles are a great way to develop your pattern recognition and visual recognition skills. Also helps concentration

- Start making lists of thing you have to do. You'll get more done, faster.

- Make amends with somebody you don't see eye to eye with

- Make a new friend

- Create a budget, keep your receipts, add it all to an excel spread sheet and make a graph of your expenses, you'll be surprised

- Go online a practice your typing skills

- Go to coursera.com and enroll yourself in one of their many free online classes

- Junk food, once a week maximum! Cause you're still allowed to please your taste buds!

- Examine your monthly expense and cancel something you pay for that you don't really use often enough to pay for it

- Go to the gym!!!

- Do something nice for somebody without expecting anything in return

- Avoid getting arrested for murder


All of these are realistic thing you can easy accomplish if you put your mind to it. Their are things on that list that I should do myself. Hell, everybody should do a couple of things on that list. I hope I helped OP and evryone else in this thread.

There's a couple subtleties regarding that one I need to get figured out.

I tried it today and realized I literally can't even do that and notice when I'm getting distracted/into thoughts until I was rolling over to fire my laptop back up.

I can tell this one might change me, or at least instill some patience. Not thinking though... that's a tough one.
