inoculated bulk directly with agar wedges

Hi all,
This morning I inoculated two filter patch spawn bags with a couple of agar wedges from the same isolate.
The bags contain spawn made up of bran, poplar wood chips and straw. The moisture content is around 70%, and it was autoclaved (sterilized) for 100 minutes at 15 psi and 119°C, and after it cooled down, I opened it up in front of a flow hood, wiped it down with 70% ethanol, and dropped 4 agar wedges from the same isolate of Bermuda-cubensis and Azurescens in each bag respectively. I did also cut up the wedges to increase points of inoculation. Thereafter the bags were impulse sealed.
I am now about to massage it up so to mix it up nicely, and will be incubating in my room at an average ambient room temperature of 80°F.
I also inoculated some sterilized wheat grain jars with the remaining Azure wedges, just as a backup in case the bulk bags were to backfire somehow...
I hope the bags will show positive signs of growth within the next week, especially the Azure-bag, as I know it is usually a slow colonizer. I will update with pics a week from today.
 Regards, Rf

I totally forgot to say why I am not using spawn is because not only don't I have any (yet), a dear friend made me the substrate a couple of days ago, and I wouldn't want it go to waste. And besides, I have more than plenty of isolates in the fridge, all fully colonized on their 65mm PDYA petri dishes, so why not just toss a bunch on the bulk?
