All rodents and kin will eat there young. Alot of animals do.
My lab... not to bright. Definitely obedient but not very smart and she is mixed with border collie. She is still young tho 2yrs some mo. She has calmed down ALOT just in the last few months. Which is great and has really helped with training.
Also I didn't get her till she was over a yr (she was a rescue). She was also abused growing up so that doesn't help either. But she is very VERY affectionate sometimes almost to much lol. /thread jack
Fennec fox and the flying squirrels would be awesome and I'm a HUGE fan of reptiles. I think I would want some scorpions too but idk lol. Stuff like that is always intriguing. With the fox and squirrel I think my dog would eat them she loves to chase things even a leaf moving she jumps on lol.

I'd be worried about my dog with the fox too, but she hasn't eaten the cats yet.

Despite the risk of having your face torn off and/or being bludgeoned to death, i think it'd be pretty cool to have a chimp too.

Oh yea both male and female when hit adolescent have serious tempers and are so incredibly strong. It blows my mind at the strength they possess.
Yea my dog hasn't killed the cats yet either and the animal shelter said not bec she would eat them. I had baby ducks for a couple weeks and she didn't eat them.
Lol sorry. Reminiscing 1 time I took my dog to the park she ran and grabbed a baby goose. I told her to drop it. When she looked up at me and that goose was hanging from her mouth I was like aww... wait... fuck it. Drop it. She did and by the time I got there it was gone so she didn't kill that either.

I'm not sure if you classify mine as exotic, I do, but I have a pure bred Bengal cat.
They get them from breeding a domestic house cat with an asian leopard cat. Mine has glittered leopard print fur, and has obvious wild personality traits. The way he stalks a string or something when I play with him is amazing. Just like a leopard. He gets really low and creeps forward. He has huge back legs almost like a rabbit, and massive paws. His whole structure looks nothing at all like a normal cat. Basically a baby leopard. He's only 4-5 months old and already as big as any cat i've ever had.

I have a 3 year old Bengal, huge cat hes an outside cat and i live in a semi rural area and he kills everything. He trys to catch fish out of my pond and hes good friends with my dogs a AKC golden retriever and a shi tzu. He fights/plays with them and goes "paw to paw" with them. He really kicks the shi tzus ass. Hes a fun cat, has a weird meow different than the other neighborhood cats. I really want a Serval or a Savannah cat.

My friends bengals had kittens so i got mine for nothing. But they are smart cats and they need about the same space as any other house cat. Mine has a territory outside, usually sticks to the front/backyard and this field behind the house across the street. The have goatd and horses over there but he hops the fence. When i walk my dog he walks next to the dog and they both smell stuff and investigate together. They are big cats but they are around the size of house cats, weighing 14-20lbs. Mines closer to 20. Ill see if i can find a pic of him.

I love reptiles. My wife has Panther Chameleons, I have a few hypo het for albino Boa Constrictors. Which I have plans on adding to my collection immensely. What I would really love to have though is a Gaboon Viper. They are highly venomous for those of you who aren't familiar. They have such a beautiful pattern to them. Just a truly awesome snake.

My bengal cost almost $1000, but that was without the papers showing he's purebred, which we really should have gotten if we wanted to breed him.
They really are intelligent though, nothing like regular house cats. You can tell by the way they act. And totally fearless. I'll walk by mine when he's in a playful mood and he goes up on his hind legs stand up and just stars pawing the air like crazy like he wants to fight it's hilarious.
And the sounds he makes are totally feral. Like growls sometimes.
I'm starting to train him to jump up on my shoulders, and now I'll be walking by and not even notice him while he's perched on something and he'll just fly through the air and land on my back . it's awesome.
I love him.
I'll upload a few pictures in a while when I get some on the computer.

Awesome I want one (a Bengal)! I would love to have a chameleon they are so awesome. As for you getting a baboon viper not likely. But I knew a guy with a cobra (don't remember exactly what one). Such a gorgeous snake and my grandfather had a Burmese that was like 8 1/2ft he used to feed it rabbits and it took baths in my kiddie swimming pools. Another beautiful snake I've always wanted.
