so, im getting this pocket projector for xmas from my parents. its fucking awesome to say the least. i tested it out when it arrived so as to make sure it worked and was worth it as there was another model, that was fairly cheaper that came with a roku stick, however, had much less lumens. i believe 60 or so while this has 85. the design of this one was much sleaker as well.
anywho, the thing is insane. i was walkin around the house just throwing some awesome old grateful dead concert everywhere i went right from my hand. hooked it up to playstation and was playin gta5 on a big wall in the living room. pretty sweet.
went out back, adn projected onto the house at night and the image was still very watchable at two stories tall by same width squared pretty much. this is gonna be an awesome festival, party, beach, camping, everything toy! http://www.brookstone.com/hdmi-pocket-projector

ive yet to do a search, as, im on my phone atm. im curious though. the only port for video in on the projector in is hdmi. i have the iphone to hdmi connection, but then my phone is tethered to the projector, and if i was out and streaming from it, i would have to keep my phone basically right near it whereas id much rather be able to step back from where i set up the projector yet still have my phone on me if not for just safe keeping, but in case i get a call or what have you. even just to use my phone to pull up videos and such from afar.
do they have hdmi bluetooth attachments? that, or, hdmi to female usb port in which i could attach a usb blue tooth to that?

Bluetooth does not have anywhere near enough bandwidth for video not to mention the latency issues.

I am not really sure that it would be so simple to do what you are suggesting... your bluetooth device would need some link between.. you should know that hdmi is a pure video and audio transmitter to my knowledge and you would need a strange kind of bluetooth unit.. more so; I would recommend against using wireless video.. please..

Transfer the video to a blu-ray disk and play it on a disk player via hdmi. If you want wireless, then you have to go with Wifi/4G - those are the only ones with the bandwidth you would need.

so, i cant just hook up a bluetooth that has a hdmi connector, however, only streams the video at sub par quality?
i dont care so much about the video being hdmi quality. only, to be able to get the phone or other wireless device to communicate with the projector via wireless.
sorry, if thats been covered. i know what you guys are saying, but wasnt sure if you were just saying that i wont be able to have the higher quality. or if i cant really have any video transmitted to the projector via wireless, period.

You cannot transmit video via Bluetooth period. The technology does not exist. You may be able to find some sort of wifi adapter though.

You know my brother mentioned his friend getting one of these lask week. I was at a tea party when he came over to our table & started presenting the subject of his recently acquired gift. The gift was imparted to us and delivered us with the utmost satisfaction, we derived a sense of joy from hearing about it. I know someone that brought one of these to a show held in Cuba once, someone just returned back from France & arrived in Cuba with one of them. They flashed it around to everyone & we all stared in awe. Some of us couldn't stop from looking, it was too hard to look away. I began to realize that my best friend once had one of these a year ago. But he lives in Russia now.
I recall that he said he was going to give one to me later so I canceled my reservations to dine out & stayed in anxiously awaiting his arrival. I also quit my job as a part painter & retired for awhile. I decided to move to New york to visit some family memebr. I haven't seen them in awhile so I decided to travel there. I remember the last time I went was 3 years ago and i came accompanied with noone.

I'm sure someone here might be able to comment on the ability of a Roku or other media server to do what you want via wi-fi.
As everyone else has commented, blue tooteh can't accomplish what you want.
