Various questions about cubensis

I broke open a dried mushroom and it looked hollow inside.

More recently I picked one maybe a bit immature and dried it a bit, but wanted to speed up the process so I sliced it down the center and noticed it was not hollow like the other one.

I thought that was odd. I'm guessing it's normal because it wasn't done growing yet maybe, I don't think a contamination or competing fungus would live inside the mushroom, right?
Also I wasn't sure if these were good, since they look so 'frosty'
They smelled ok, so I ended up picking them. Not sure if these are aborts, contaminated, or normal. The picture was taken after a light misting which makes the mycelium a bit more sparkly.
What do you think?

1) Mushrooms develop differently than plants or animals do. Plants and animals grow through cell division - to get bigger they have to produce more cells. Cell division is relatively slow and requires a lot of energy. The mushroom mycelium also grows by cell division. However, the mushroom fruit does not grow by cell division. Just about as soon as it starts to develop, a mushroom has almost the same number of cells that the mature mushroom will have. The mushroom increases in size through cell ENLARGEMENT! This means that the cells can balloon up very rapidly. Very little energy is required, basically the cells just enlarge with water. So a mushroom can increase in size as fast as water can be pumped into its cells. this is y the mature ones are hollow and the not so mature ones aren't and the frosty ones are just young and it's normal

Thanks for the info, I guess I should have left em, but I was worried about it growing into a contamination or something... ah silly. I'll know for next time though.
