Actions

I just realized that my future and current life is where it's at, due to a series of what I thought were 'insignificant' decisions/actions, at the time. What got me thinking about this was that, two months ago, I made a post on another website, asking a question, which led to a sequence of events that completely changed my life. My life was drastically changed by just one post on a website. It blows my mind.
I won't go into detail about it, but that also got me thinking about how most of the 'significant' changes in my life were caused by 'insignificant' actions. I realized that our actions can drastically change the future of ourselves or even the entire world, on occasion.
We often see this in time-travel movies and TV shows, wherein a character's 'insignificant' actions change the future in an extreme way. People tend to think that their actions don't affect anyone but themselves, but that's not true. Your actions affect everyone around you. You could drastically change someone's future with just a simple statement.
The point of this thread is to highlight how our actions DO matter, even the ones that seem negligible. You have enormous power to change people's future lives and your own life. Don't think that your good deeds have gone unnoticed and have had little effect on people. For all you know, you may have saved someone's life.
Most people, including myself, tend to act impulsively, without any train of thought whatsoever. Think about your actions before you make them. Remind yourself of how powerful your actions are, and think about what kind of effect they could have on the future.

Actually, I think it's more profound than that. Much more profound than that.
From the moment you were conceived in your mother's womb, one cell division after another has determined your destiny.
There have been no "accidents." No "randomness." Everything in your life, in your biology, that occurred earlier ended up taking you to that other website where you asked that one question, which you say changed your life.
This applies to both our physical destinies (which science informs us can be "tweaked" by following certain "healthful" paths), as well as to our spiritual destinies (which, some believe, can also be "tweaked" by following certain practices -- though I'm personally not so sure about that).
Only a guess, this. How could anyone "know" this kind of stuff?

Yeah, it kinda goes back to the age-old question; "do we really have control over our fate/destiny?"
